Last Saturday was Bob's baptism! Everything was perfect, besides the water was wayyyy too hot haha! Bob definitely has a light about him now that he didn't have before. And the spirit is definitely talking to him and it's amazing! Here's a little story! So last pday, we thought that we would get more MSF (missionary funds for groceries and such) but we didn't! Sister taylor and I were dirt poor and we didn't have enough funds for groceries and we were just going to go hungry for the week. So we usually have lessons with Bob on Tuesdays. We show up to his apartment and he GOT US GROCERIES! Like literally two boxes FULL of canned goods, fresh fruit/veggies, dried pasta, and more! We hadn't told him that we didn't get groceries, he just had the feeling he needed to help us out this week! BIG MIRACLE! God takes care of His missionaries. Also, something else exciting! A few weeks ago, Sister Taylor and I followed the spirit to a new friend named Emma! She was from Madagascar but going to school in Kansas for a little bit. We gave her a Book of Mormon and she was so excited to learn more! But then she moved to Tennessee the next week. We kept in contact with the missionaries in Tennessee and they have continued teaching Emma and she's planning on getting baptized soon! YAY! Another update for Terry! He has been pushing back his baptism again and again! But this week, he had a rude awakening. He had a jet ski accident on the lake and is very lucky to be alive. He realized how precious life is and how he should not be procrastinating! So now we are planning his baptism for October 7, pray for Terry (he also injured his knee). It was a fun filled week!
